1 lb ground turkey or other lean meat
Chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika and oregano to taste

Bibb lettuce leaves or thinly sliced jicama
Taco toppings, such as fresh salsa, plain greek yogurt and queso fresco
Saute ground turkey. Add seasonings and stir to thoroughly combine. Add onions and cook until translucent. Mix in cilantro.
Place turkey mixture on lettuce leaves or jicama slices and top with taco toppings.
RAW VEGAN PECAN PIE
3 1/2 cups pecans
pinch of salt
3 cups large pitted dates, soaked for 30 minutes in hot water
about 1 cup pecans
In a food processor combine the ingredients for the crust. Blend until the pieces are broken down and stick together when pressed. Spoon evenly into pie plate and chill in freezer.
Place the soaked dates in a food processor. . Add about 3-4 tbsp soak water and blend until smooth and gooey, scraping down the sides often. Spoon filling into chilled crust and top with pecans. Place in refrigerator and allow to set up for at least 1 hour.
